On the side of a home
dirt don’t seem to deserve much decoration.
A catchall space
for objects of the outdoors
Dune grasses
clutch the human rubbish,
bits of washed up aquatic detritus
and marine plastics.
A transitional space
that receives us from,
and prepares us for,
the external world.
A fertile zones of growth and change.
